- Back to the beginning: Price and I met at YHS my freshman (his sophmore) year and dated for the next three years. After Price graduated, he joined the military and was stationed in Beautiful San Diego. Shortly after I graduated, we were married and had our 1st little man on the way: Preston Barrett Walling, born 2/2/07. We bought our 1st home in May 2009 and Little man #2, Ethan Jefferson Walling, followed on 7/29/09. As if life wasn't already crazy enough after that, we welcomed baby boy #3, Maverick Charles Walling on 11/20/2011 and our first girl (and Dog) Lucy in January 2012. We're still in San Diego, living one adventure after another!

Our house
We bought our house in May 2009 and didn't realize how over our heads we were! This has been one heck of a project that seems to have no end in sight! Price and I have learned many new skills and a ton about eachother, good and bad :). No matter how bad the problems have been with this place, we are still fortunate to have something to call our own. When you look at these pictures, they may just look like any other house off the street, but to fully appreciate them, you need to check out the before pictures....then you'll understand a little bit about the journey we have been on for the past year. There are not pictures posted of the master bathroom, kitchen, office, addition, or the yards because they currently have projects going on in them, but once they are completed, i'll update this post. ENJOY!!

The good Lord and a Gun
WHAT MEN BUY WHEN THEY GO OUT IN LARGE GROUPS...WITHOUT ANY WOMEN...
Price has been in Florida for about a month now, and this past weekend he called to say he and some of the boys were going out to walk around a convention that was in town. So, several hours later I received a few multi media text messages with "PROUD OWNER" in the subject fields. These are the images i was sent...
We got a fightin' side a mile wide but we pray for peace
'Cause it's mostly us that end up servin' overseas
If it was up to me I'd love to see this country run
Like it used to be, oughta be, just like it's done
Out here, way out here
Our house (is now) protected by the good Lord and some guns,
And you might meet 'em both if you show up here not welcome son!

Four years later
On August 17th, 2006 Price and I were married in a small ceremony in Las Vegas, NV.
Today, four years later, we have so much to be thankful for...
Preston: Our rambunctious 3 1/2 year old. He's a fast and fearless ball of energy who never stops surprising us with funny, clever little comments.
Ethan: Our once quiet, passive 1 year old, who is growing into a very strong ( and hungry :) ) little man.
Our Home: We were fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of the drop in the housing market and bought our 1st home in May 2009. It is a 4 bedroom and 2 bath home with a large, soon to be " mother-in-law " addition. Saying it is a fixer-upper is a HUGE understatement, but we are proud to call it our own(and will be even more proud when it is all done!!).
So from, high school sweethearts, to husband and wife, to mom and dad, we've been through a lot together and i'm looking forward to a lifetime more of adventures with a wonderful man!!
